THE PROPERTIES OF HDPE PIPE
HDPE pipes are used more than other plastin pipes with every passing day because of its pro-eminent properties:
- Light and easy to transport.
- Smooth surface both inside and outside, small friction factor.
- Low coefficient of heat transmission.
- High mechanical and impact strength.
- Long life (not less than 50 years if used correctly).
- High flexural stragth, resistance to ground displacement (earthquake...)
- Resistance to acids, alkalis, salt... at 60 degrees
- Can work at -40 degrees
- Resistance to sunshine, UV rays.
- Economy, low cost than other pipes.
